This article will walk you through how to inactivate Growers, Farms, Fields, and Crop Zones. This removes the selected resources from pick-lists and prevents you from recording new information to them without deleting historical records in Traction
When managing fields in the import queue, please be aware of the following:
- Inactivating a Field: If you inactivate a field, any data that was previously associated with that field in the import queue will be archived. This means that no data for that field will be processed or imported while it remains inactive. It is important to note that no new data for the inactivated field will be imported during this time.
- Activating a Field: When you reactivate the field, the data will start importing again from the day of activation going forward. The system will not retrieve or import any data that was missed while the field was inactive.
Make sure to carefully consider the timing when inactivating or activating fields to ensure that your data is handled correctly.
