How do I transfer crops between storage locations?
This article will walk you through how to move harvested crop inventory between storage locations.
Traction Plus or Pro is Required to access this feature.
1. Navigate to Resources and click on Storage to access your storage locations.
2. Click the three dots to the right of the desired location and click on Transfer inventory.
3. Select the Transfer Date, Crop Year, desired Storage location, and the Quantity that is being transferred.
4. By entering in a Transfer Quantity, take note of the original storage location's Beginning balance decreasing while the To Storage Location's New Balance Increases. Make the desired entry and click Save.
5. To view the transfer, delete, or edit navigate back to Storage and click the three dots to the right of the desired storage bin and click on Manage Inventory.
6. Locate the desired entry, click the three dots on the right hand side and click on edit transfer.
7. Make any necessary changes, delete, or simply view.
Once a storage location has been emptied, you will be allowed to add a different crop to that location. If Shrink is enabled for a storage location, you must add the crop you wish to store under Shrink to allow the location to accept storing specific crops.
