Why are Locations not showing up as Harvest Destinations?
Overview:
In Traction Enterprise, we use Inventory Locations to store crop inventory. These can be set up on Setup>Inventory Locations. These locations are what you will choose from when hauling crop to storage or from storage and to the customer.
Requirements:
In order to use Storage at Inventory Locations, you will first need:
- Entities created on Setup>Entities.
- Inventory Locations created on Setup>Inventory Locations.
- Crops added to your Traction Enterprise account.
Answer:
If any of your Destination locations are not showing up, the first thing to check is if Crop Storage has been properly set-up at the relevant harvest locations. You can do this by going to the Setup>Inventory locations tab in the app.
Keep in mind that once locations are added, it is then necessary to add Crop Storage at those locations in order for these locations to be available to use on the mobile app or when manually entering (or importing) Crop Transfers.
Note: Each year, you will need to add Crop Storage to these locations for any new crops you plan to put into that location.
