Where can I view the yield on each field boundary?

Overview:

When your crop is coming off of the field during harvest, you'll want to frequently check and see what your yields are looking like on each field boundary. There are a couple different places you can view yield per boundary in Traction Enterprise. In this article, we'll highlight those methods so you can choose the best one for you.

Requirements:

  • Crops set up in your Traction Enterprise account.
  • Crop Plans created and assigned to fields.
  • Harvest Tasks completed with transfers going into inventory.

Process:

Harvest Reconciliation - Crops>Inventory>Reconciliation

  • Here you can view your yield data by Boundary Area, Planted Area, or Harvested Area (be sure to enter harvested area covered, if you select this option).
  • Harvest Reconciliation displays harvest data for each harvest task, so if you have more than one harvest task associated with a Field Plan (some forage plans may be set up like this), you'll see more than one entry on this page.

Yield Summary - Crops>Yield>Summary

  • Similar to Harvest Reconciliation, this page will display one entry per each harvest task, so multiple harvest tasks per boundary will result in more than one entry on this page.
  • Offers a customizable format (allowing you to add or remove columns as needed)
  • Exports easily to .pdf and .csv

Yield Analyzer - Crops>Yield>Analyzer

  • Provides a flexible presentation of data, with different and customizable views to select
  • Similar to the Yield Summary, this page exports easily as .pdf or .csv
  • Use the "drill through" capability to view the Harvest Inventory Transfers that are generating yield

Yield by Field Report - Reports>Yield by Field

  • The Yield by Field Report presents field-level yield data in a professional, exportable way that can be easily shared as needed, with financial institutions, landowners, and other team members.
  • View yield data by Boundary Area, Planted Area, or Harvested Area, and specify whether or not you want to view Inventory Transfers or Equipment Transfers (Harvest Equipment Loads).
  • Harvest Tasks must be marked "Complete" before data will populate on this page.

Some of these reports may be better than others for your situation. Once you find one that you prefer, you can easily keep up on your yield throughout the harvest season.
