How should I plan intercropping with two crops on a particular Field?
Requirements:
- Imported and/or drawn your Fields/Boundaries.
- Complete other sections of the Setup tab (e.g. Inputs, Land Agreements, Financial Accounts).
- If you are intercropping with two crops on a particular field, it's best to divide the field into two Operational Boundaries and assign one Crop Plan to each boundary.
- The boundaries will not reflect your actual planting pattern on the field but will allocate the appropriate acreage to each crop.
Process:
- Navigate to the Setup>Fields page.
- Choose the Field you would like to edit.
- Click Edit in the top right corner.
- You can now adjust the current boundary and add another boundary over the correct acreage for the other crop.
- You may then assign your separate Crop Plans on the Field Plans page.
