How should I plan intercropping with two crops on a particular Field?

Requirements:

  • Imported and/or drawn your Fields/Boundaries.
  • Complete other sections of the Setup tab (e.g. Inputs, Land Agreements, Financial Accounts).
  • If you are intercropping with two crops on a particular field, it's best to divide the field into two Operational Boundaries and assign one Crop Plan to each boundary.
    • The boundaries will not reflect your actual planting pattern on the field but will allocate the appropriate acreage to each crop.

Process:

  1. Navigate to the Setup>Fields page.
  2. Choose the Field you would like to edit.
  3. Click Edit in the top right corner.
  4. You can now adjust the current boundary and add another boundary over the correct acreage for the other crop.
  5. You may then assign your separate Crop Plans on the Field Plans page.
