How is the forecasted amount of Nitrogen (Potassium or Phosphorus) calculated?
Overview:
Nutrient Plans will be relevant for any operation that sets intentional goals for their fertilizer applications. As weather changes and plans change, Nutrient Plans will help growers better understand the trade-offs and change plans accordingly while still tracking towards overall targets.
Answer:
The forecasted amount of N, P, or K comes from completed tasks that have already had fertilizer applied plus planned amounts of N, P, or K for planned tasks.
In the example below:
- Target - NPK targets for this specific boundary
- Applied - total indicates Tasks that have been completed (already applied)
- Forecasted - total indicates Applied + Planned
- Applied or Completed Tasks are indicated by
- Planned Tasks/Inputs are indicated by
Note:
- Unchecking the blue box next to an input, will remove the input from the Task. While unchecking the blue box next to the Task, will remove the Task from the Nutrient Plans page as well as the Field Plan.
