How does Traction Enterprise determine the acreage of a Field Plan?
Requirements:
- Fields/Boundaries imported and/or drawn.
Answer:
In Traction Enterprise, the acreage of a field plan is determined by the acreage of the corresponding boundary on the Setup>Fields page. Traction Enterprise uses the boundary acreage from your field plans to determine Enterprise Acreage in your financial reports. Field plan and boundary acreage is also used as the default acreage for every task in the plan.
You can edit your boundaries on the Setup>Fields page. You can change the acreage anytime you would like therefore, Traction Enterprise determines each field plan's acreage as the corresponding boundary acreage on the Setup Fields page.
You can edit your boundary at any time without disturbing your financial plans or other calculations that rely on a stable acreage for your planning by selecting "today" as the date on which the newly adjusted boundary will go into effect.
