Overview:
The Traction Enterprise location based notifications alert you to start a Work Order when you arrive at a field boundary and remind you to complete or pause Work Orders when you leave a field boundary.
Requirements:
- The Traction Enterprise mobile app downloaded on your mobile device.
- Login to the Traction Enterprise Mobile App using the email address and password set up for you in the Traction Enterprise Business web application.
Answer:
To generate these alerts, Traction Enterprise uses the location information from your mobile device (the Traction Enterprise mobile app samples your position every 10 minutes).
Notification to Start a Work Order
If you enter a field where you have an assigned Work Order and meet the following conditions, the Traction Enterprise mobile app alerts you to start the Work Order.
- You have no Work Orders currently in progress.
- You have an assigned Work Order for that given field boundary.
- You remain in the field boundary for over 10 minutes.
Notification to Complete or Pause a Work Order
If you leave a field boundary while a Work Order is in progress, you will receive an alert when the following conditions are met:
- You have a Work Order currently in progress.
- You have exited the field boundary associated with the above Work Order.
- You have stayed outside the field boundary for a period of at least 60 minutes.
After you receive the notification, you have the following options:
- Complete: This completes the assigned work order.
- Pause: This pauses the assigned work order.
- Remind me Later: This snoozes the notification and will generate another reminder based on the time frame defined in Settings. (The default time period for a reminder is 60 minutes.)
To adjust the Remind Me Later interval:
- Tap the More tab at the bottom of the mobile app home page.
- Select Settings
- Select Remind Me Later Interval.
- Choose the amount of time you want the app to wait before sending you subsequent notifications about this work order.
Note: The exact timing and location of the alerts depends on the current GPS accuracy of your device, which depends on a variety of factors.
