How do I use the Traction Enterprise mobile app to create Work Orders?

Overview:

When you are busy in the field, you will not always have the opportunity to sit down at a computer and create Work Orders for your Operators using the Traction Enterprise web application. That is why we have made it quick and easy to create Work Orders from the mobile app as well.

Requirements:

  • The Traction Enterprise mobile app downloaded on a mobile device.
  • Traction Enterprise mobile app login credentials with correct permissions established within the Setup>People page.

Process:

There are a couple of ways to create Work Orders using the mobile app:

Option 1 - Use + Add

This option allows you to assign work to multiple Operators at once.

  1. Open up your Traction Enterprise Business mobile app.
  2. Tap Add at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Select Assign Work.

4. Select the correct Field Boundary/Production Cycle for the work order you are creating.

5. Select the Task Type for the work order.

6. Select from a task that is currently assigned to the Field Plan, an existing Task Template, or create a brand new task.

7. Review the task TypeTimingProducts, and Implement (if applicable).  click Next.

8. Select the operator or operators (if applicable for Team Orders).

9. Select the applicable Equipment for the Work Order.

10. On the Details screen, click the Arrows to edit the Work Order name, the timing of the Work Order, the operators, and to Add photos or notes.  Click Confirm when finished.

Work Order has now been created for each of your selected Operators, and will display on their respective mobile applications in the "Not Started" section of the Work Order tab.

Option 2 - From the Tasks tab

  1. Open up your Traction Enterprise Business mobile app.
  2. Tap Tasks at the bottom of your screen.

By default, this will bring up all available Tasks. If Location Services are enabled, this Task list will be sorted per your proximity to the nearest Task (the closest Tasks will be at the top of the list). (Learn how to determine if location services are enabled for your iOS and for your Android devices).

3. Use the Search Bar to type in the field or task you're looking for or Filter Tasks by Field Groups, Crops, Task Types, Assignees, and Status.

4. After you locate your Task, tap on it to see the Task Details and then tap Create Work Order at the bottom of the screen.
