How do I use the mobile app to split a Harvest Load?

Overview:

When you're finishing up a field during harvest and have a bit more room left in the hopper or truck for some grain that's coming off of an adjacent field, you will want to be sure to capture the fact that you have changed fields by splitting the load in the Traction Enterprise mobile app.  

Requirements:

  • The Traction Enterprise mobile app downloaded on a supported mobile device.
  • Traction Enterprise mobile app login credentials established within the Setup>People page.
  • Harvest work orders created for applicable operators.

Process:

To do this, enter the load as you normally would, but be sure to tap the "split" button.

This will create a second transfer on the Add Load screen, where you are able to specify:

  • Origin
  • Whether you're transferring to a piece of equipment or a location
  • Which piece of equipment or location you're transferring to
  • Intended Destination
  • Ticket #

After you have modified Transfer 1 to reflect the appropriate amount of harvested crop coming off of the original field, you will notice Transfer 2 has auto-populated to reflect the difference.  

Save your loads and they will be reflected back in the Traction Enterprise web application after a successful sync.

Tip for success:

  • When selecting the Origin for Transfer 2, only incomplete Harvest Tasks with a date range of within 14 days of today's date will display as available options to choose from.
