How do I transfer Inputs from one Inventory Location to another?

Overview

You may find that you move Inputs, such as seed, fertilizer, and chemical from one location to another and need to make this transfer via Traction Enterprise.  This article will go over the process on how to create this transfer of inventory.

Requirements

• Ensure you have your Input Storage Locations setup

Process

To transfer Inputs from one storage location to another:

1. Navigate to Inputs>Inventory>Transfers.
2. Click Add at the top and select Transfer from the menu.
3. On the Add Transfer screen, choose the original storage location and the new storage location.
4. Enter relevant line items, including Input Name and Quantity.
5. Click Save.
   
   
   
6. To view your Input Balances by location and verify the transfer you just created, navigate to Inputs>Inventory>Balances.
