Overview:
There are some cases when using Work Orders for harvest just doesn't work with your farm. In this case, you can track your harvest using only the totals off of your monitor pulled in by Machine Data.
Requirements:
- Once you've finished harvesting a field, go to Crops>Inventory>Reconciliation to reconcile the yield off that field.
- You should see your Machine Data total listed under that field.
Process:
- The first step is to add a crop inventory transfer to storage. This will put the crop you harvested off the field and into your inventory. You will use the data from your Machine Data total.
- To do this, click "Add" and choose "Field Equipment to Storage"
2. Next, choose the Equipment you used to harvest the field and the Storage Location where you took the crop.
3. Then fill in the moisture, quantity, and any other relevant information you need to add
3. Now, when you check Harvest Reconciliation again, you'll see an Inventory Load to your Storage
4. Once this is complete and you have the total harvested into your storage, you can start hauling from that inventory to your customers or other storage locations.
5. To do this:
- Navigate to Crops>Inventory>Transfers
- Click "Add"
- Choose Storage to Customer or Storage to Storage
6. That will open a Transfer Ticket that you can enter your truck ticket information into.
Note: This transfer will not show up in Harvest Reconciliation. It is an Inventory Transfer so it won't be associated with a Field. To track which Field this came off of, just add a note in the Transfer Ticket.
