How do I track Actual # N in Traction Enterprise?

Overview

Traction Enterprise customers typically track total product of NH3 however, we know some customers who specifically want to just track Actual #N.  If you choose to track by Actual #N, it's important to convert all NH3 Input Transfers (Deliveries, Transfers, Adjustments, Applications) to Actual #N for consistency.

Requirements

• Activity Record applications must also be tracked in Actual # N, Traction Enterprise does not convert this over for you.

Process

To enter a delivery in #N:

1. Convert Total Product Purchased to Actual #N:
   Delivery of 25 tons of NH3.
   NH3 x 0.82 = Actual #N. 
   (25 tons x 0.82) = Actual #N Applied
   20.5 tons = Actual #N Applied
   
   
   
   
2. Convert Cost to Actual #N as well:
   25 tons of NH3 are bought at $250/ton
   Total of $6,250.
   20.5 tons = Actual #N
   $6,250 / 20.5 = $304.88 per ton of Actual #N
3. Double-check your costs add up to your invoice total ($6,250 in this example).
4. Add note stating the total product purchased (i.e. Total NH3 Delivered = 25 tons).
