How do I tie a delivery to a crop contract?

Overview:

Traction Enterprise makes it easy for you to tie a harvest or hauling delivery to a particular Contract. This will allow you to capture the revenue that you bring in from your crop.

Requirements:

  • Contact Customer Support to add any crops you may need.
  • Create Crop Plans with Harvest Tasks.
  • Assign those plans to your fields.
  • Make sure that your customer locations are setup with crop storage
  • Set up Contracts for each crop you need to deliver.

Process:

To create a new transfer and tie a contract to it in one step:

  • Navigate to Crops>Inventory>Transfers.
  • Click "Add" and choose to enter a new harvest or hauling load or use the filters to find an existing load that you need to tie a contract to.
  • After you choose your "Production Cycle" and "Harvest Product", you can easily input the rest of the data fields, including your Contract.
  • Once you've input all the appropriate data, click "Save" (or "Save & Create New" to configure another load)
