Overview:
There can be many reasons that you may need to split a transfer in Traction Enterprise. If there is one load that is being hauled to fill two separate contracts, you could split the load to tie two contracts. Or if you fill one truck from two fields, you could split the load to record two origins. For whatever reason you need to do it, we'll tell you how in this article.
Requirements:
To split tickets in Traction Enterprise, you will first need to:
- Contact Customer Support to add any crops that you need in your account.
- Make sure that your default units are set up appropriately for each crop.
- Create Crop Plans containing Harvest Tasks.
- Assign those plans to your fields.
Process:
- Navigate to the Crops>Inventory>Transfers page.
- Click "Add" at the top right of the page.
- Select the type of load you want to enter: Harvest Loads or Hauling Loads.
- In the popup window, enter the Production Cycle for the harvested crop and the Product.
- Once you enter these, you'll be able to select the Origin (Field + Harvest Task, for Harvest loads) and Destination (Bin).
- You can then enter the relevant information from your Truck Scale Ticket, including a Contract and any Quality Metrics, if known
- Click Actions at the top right of the modal - choose Split Transfer.
Note: When splitting a load, the following transfers will share a Load ID, allowing you to group them later.
