Overview:
During harvest, Traction Enterprise uses your Target Moisture as the percent moisture you plan to dry your crop to after harvest.
If an operator enters a load via their Traction Enterprise mobile app that is above the Target Moisture percentage, Traction Enterprise automatically adjusts that number according to your Target Moisture setting to reflect the appropriate dry bushel amount.
Requirements:
- Set your Target Moisture before beginning your harvest operations in Setup>Crops.
Process:
- Navigate to Setup>Crops and select the Crop you wish to update.
- Select the Default Settings tab.
- Enter the appropriate Target Moisture and Shrink.
Note: Shrink is the factor by which we shrink your crop down. So in this screenshot below, we will shrink this load down by a factor of 1.40 for each percentage point over 17% moisture.
Changes made after configuring this setting affect only new harvest transfers from that point forward.
If you want to update the Target Moisture associated with any historical harvest transfers or loads, open, recalculate, and re-save any of those relevant harvest transfers. Doing so allows that particular harvest transfer to use the current moisture information you configured above.
