How do I filter for and sort tasks in the mobile app?

Overview:

The Traction Enterprise mobile app helps you stay organized when you are on the go and away from the office.  A great example of this is the filtering functionality within the Tasks Tab in the app.

Requirements:

  • The Traction Enterprise mobile app downloaded on your iOS or Android mobile device.
  • Login to Traction Enterprise Mobile App using the login credentials set up for you.
  • Tasks created with a planned timing that overlap with today's date.

Answer:

By default (when location services are enabled), Tasks are organized according to your proximity to the task.

  • Those that are closest to you show up at the top of the list, and those farther away show up toward the bottom of the list.
  • You can change the way tasks are sorted by tapping on the arrows in the top right corner of the screen. This will give you the option to sort from near-far, far-near, A-Z, and Z-A.

If you cannot locate the Task you are looking for, tap on the funnel icon located in the top right corner of your screen to narrow your search and filter by AssigneesCropsDate, Field GroupsProduction Cycles, Statuses, or Tasks.

When you apply a filter, a blue bar will appear at the top of the screen and the funnel icon will appear blue to let you know that filters are currently applied.

In the web app, you can also alter the permissions level of each operator to allow or not allow them to view other operators, view Tasks, and create Work Orders by navigating to Setup>People and editing your current operator profiles.
