This article will give you details on how to export data from a John Deere Greenstar 3 1800.
Requirements:
Do you have a MyJohnDeere or Precision Planting FieldView account?
- Yes - contact your CSM or Support for the best practice in integrating your machine data
- No - follow the process below; you will need to have access to your machine data files
Process:
-
Turn off all types of recording and stop the vehicle.
-
Insert the USB flash drive. A USB Detected message appears if the display recognizes the USB memory device.
- If the message does not appear, read and accept the troubleshooting tips and try the other USB port (if equipped) or a different USB memory device.
Note: The display's internal memory has 256 MB of capacity for field data. The USB must be formatted to FAT or FAT32.
- Press Menu and select GreenStar .
- Read and Accept alert messages .
- Click Transfer Data to start the transfer to the card.
- Select or create a profile name where the data will be stored on the USB.
Note: If you back up data to an existing profile, the monitor overwrites data and settings in that profile.
- Select whether to Delete All Data and Setup Information from the internal memory. This step clears the internal memory and resets the setup information to factory defaults after the backup is done.
- A green status bar appear while the data is transferring. When finished, a Data Transfer is Complete message appears.
Note: To prevent data loss, do not remove the USB or crank the engine during the data transfer.
