Overview
If you need to make changes to any task after it's been applied in a Field Plan, the best place to make those edits, especially if you need to edit more than one field, is using the Task Manager tool.
In this article, we'll walk through an example for editing plans for a planting Task. Note: If you need to change the seed in a planting Task, you will want to use Operations>Plans>Seed Plans.
Requirements
In order to edit your planting tasks using Task Manager, you will first need:
- Crop Plans created on Operations>Plans>Crop Plans.
- Field Plan assignments made on Operations>Plans>Field Plans.
- Field Plans that contain a planting Task.
Process
- Navigate to Operations>Task Manager to get started.
- Scroll through the list of Current and Upcoming Activities on the left side.
- Once you find your planting Task, click 'Details'.
- From the list of fields on the left, use the check box to select the fields whose Tasks need edited.
- Click 'Edit Task' in the lower right corner.
- A list will appear with all the options that you can edit on this Task. In this example, we will choose 'Add or Replace Planned Inputs'.
- Click 'Add Input' to select any input that you need to add to this Task.
- If you need to replace an input, you will need to check mark 'Replace Existing Planned Inputs' and re-add each input you need on this Task.
