Overview:
Land Agreements must be assigned every year. Land Agreements don't always change year after year, therefore Traction Enterprise has made it easy to copy Land Agreements to other years.
Requirements:
- You must have established Land Agreements to move from one year to the next.
- Verify the following before copying over Land Agreements:
- Go to Setup>Fields to check boundary effective dates. If a boundary's effective date is set to end after one year, that boundary does not show up on the Land Agreements page for the following production cycle therefore you will not copy that Land Agreement over to the next year.
- Land Agreements will copy even if the agreement has passed the expiration date. The field effective date and Land Agreement expiration date are different. The expiration date helps remind you when your lease agreement terms will end.
Process:
To copy your land agreements to another year:
- Navigate to Setup>Land Agreements.
- Select one or more boxes in the Landowner column that have the Land Agreements you want to copy or click Landowner at the top to select all landowners.
- Click Copy Agreements To at the bottom.
- In the Copy Agreements To dialog box, select the Production Cycle where you want to copy the agreements.
- Click Apply.
- After you select to apply, navigate to that Production Cycle to check that the agreements were copied.
