How do I change the effective dates for a field boundary?

Overview

Boundaries are available for a given production cycle in areas such as the Field Plans page if the effective dates overlap with the production cycle. If you set the effective dates for a given field boundary as Jan 1, 2017 to Dec 31, 2017, this field boundary appears only for the 2017 production cycle. If you set the dates to Dec 31, 2017 to Dec 31, 2018, this field boundary appears in both the 2017 and 2018 production cycles because the effective dates include both 2017 and 2018, even if just for one day in 2017.

Requirements:

• Field boundaries setup.

Process:

1. Navigate to Setup>Fields.
2. Click the boundary where you want to change the effective date.
3. Click Edit on the right.
4. For Effective Dates, enter the desired dates.
5. Click Save.
