Overview:
Plans change, weather events happen, and every year we are reminded that mother nature has a mind of her own. Your original crop plan for a field will not always be the same from one day to the next and it is essential to have the flexibility to change your plans just as quickly as a turn in the weather.
With this in mind, Traction Enterprise makes it easy to quickly modify Field Plan assignments, even when one or more tasks have already been completed on the original Field Plan.
Requirements:
- Set up Inputs, Land Agreements, Financial Accounts, Fields/Boundaries)
- Set up your Crop Plans, Tasks and Field Plans.
- The harvest task for the original Field Plan is not complete.
Process:
- Navigate to Operations>Plans>Field Plans.
- Select the Field Plans that need to be swapped out.
- Select the updated/desired Crop Plan from the list on the left.
- Drag and drop this Crop Plan over your original Field Plan assignments.
- Select the current plan from the menu and click Merge Plan.
- Remove duplicate/unnecessary tasks that might be present from the original plan.
Your original Field Plan has now been replaced and updated with the new Field Plan assignment.
Note:
- Completed Tasks (along with input usage) from the original Field Plan have been migrated to the new Field Plan.
- If planting of the original Crop has already occurred, that completed task appears in its own plan on that boundary.
