How do I change my Equipment Totals mode?

Overview:

The Traction Enterprise mobile app allows you to capture the total weight, area, and moisture of your equipment during harvest. These totals can be captured in two different modes: Field Total Mode and Field Partial Mode.

Requirements:

  • The Traction Enterprise mobile app downloaded on a supported mobile device.
  • Traction Enterprise mobile app login credentials established within the Setup>People page.
  • Applicable equipment added within the Setup>Equipment page using the web app.
  • Harvest work orders created for applicable operators.

Process:

If you would like to change your Equipment Totals mode, tap the More tab from your mobile app, select Settings, and then finally select Equipment Totals.

Field Total Mode

This mode is relevant if you do not reset the equipment monitor after you have started work on the field, and you intend to capture the running total off the monitor.

Notes:

  1. This is the default mode, so no change is required to the setting if your operations function like this.
  2. Once you enter in a total weight and area covered, any subsequent entry for the same Work Order must have a higher value, otherwise Traction Enterprise will show an error.
  3. If you have different Work Orders working on the same piece of equipment on the field, we recommend you reassign the Work Order from one Operator to the other so that Traction Enterprise can maintain the correct equipment totals. If that is not feasible, please make sure that the Operator who finishes the Field is the only one that enters equipment totals.

Field Partial Mode

This mode is relevant if you reset your monitor on the equipment multiple times in a single Field (i.e., you reset your monitor every day and then expect that Traction Enterprise will add the multiple entries to calculate your equipment total).

If this is the case, you must ask all of your Mobile Operators to navigate to the Settings tab and change the setting on the Equipment Totals.
