How do I change a seed variety on the mobile app?

Overview:

The Traction Enterprise mobile app makes it easy to change seed varieties to help you adapt to last minute changes to your Planting Tasks.

Requirements:

  • The Traction Enterprise mobile app downloaded on your iOS or Android mobile device.
  • Login to the Traction Enterprise Mobile App using the email address and password set up for you in the Traction Enterprise Business web application.
  • Planting work orders assigned to applicable operators.

Answer:

There are two ways to edit or add seed varieties for Planting task Work Orders:

  1. Before completing the Work Order, via the Plan section.
  2. After the Work Order has been completed, as you are entering your actuals via the Add Actuals section

In our example below, we'll first walk through how to change the seed associated with this Work Order (DKC61-54RIB Blend) from the Plan section of the Work Order.

To change a Seed Variety before beginning Work (Plan):

  1. From the Plan section of the Work Order, tap View
  2. Tap the seed name.
  3. Select the new seed from the list.

To change a Seed Variety after completing Work (Actuals):

To change a seed variety after you have finished planting the field, you will do this while entering Actuals for the completed Work.

  1. Complete the Work Order.
  2. Tap Edit on the Add Actuals screen.
  3. Select Seed.
  4. Tap to select the new/updated seed.

To add an additional Seed Variety after completing work (Actuals):

  1. Complete the Work Order.
  2. Click Add Input.
  3. Choose Seed.
  4. Tap to select the new/updated seed.
