How do I capture inputs used on my tillage work order?

Overview:

There are different tillage systems and tillage management practices available in today's modern world of agriculture and there will be instances when you find yourself applying inputs while simultaneously tilling a field.  Traction Enterprise allows you to capture input usage associated with a particular Tillage Task via your mobile Work Order to ensure that you account for every dollar spent and pound applied.

Requirements:

  • The Traction Enterprise mobile app downloaded on a mobile device.
  • Traction Enterprise mobile app login credentials established within the Setup>People page.
  • Tillage work orders assigned to applicable operators.

Process:

For example, if you have an implement that lays down a band of 46-0-0 fertilizer as you are conservation tilling, you could access your mobile Work Order and follow these steps:

1. Tap Start Work Order as you enter the field and begin working.

 

 

2. Specify the equipment used and when the field is finished tap Complete.

3. Confirm the task is complete.

4. On the Add Actuals screen, enter the total acres tilled.  Also, click Add Input to select 46-0-0 from your farm catalog.

 

 

5. You will be prompted to enter the total amount applied and the acres covered for the applicable input as well.  Tap Confirm when complete.

7. Back in the web application, notice the completed mobile work order has generated an Activity Record and that the 46-0-0 has been properly captured.  Moreover, notice that you have the ability to Add an activity record here in case the Operator did not or was not able to specify input usage while in the field.
