How do I assign a Crop Share to a field?
Overview:
Traction Enterprise can help you manage simple cash rent leases and crop share agreements.
Requirements:
- Landowners setup in Setup>Entities.
Process:
- Navigate to Setup>Land Agreements.
- Use the filters at the top to find the field where you want to add a Crop Share.
- Click Add Agreement.
- Select your Landowner.
- For Lessee, select your farm organization.
- Leave the Cash Rent box empty if it does not apply to your Crop Share.
- Click Add Crop Share and enter the percentage of crop that goes to the Landowner.
- Adjust the Ownership % to reflect their ownership of the field
- Click outside of the row to save.
Note: If you have other land agreements on this field, click Add Agreement on the field to add them.
When you harvest this field, the Crop Share percentage dictates how many bushels are reflected in the this landowner's ownership. View this ownership at Crops>Inventory>Ownership Balances.
