Overview:
If you are curious whether your Traction Enterprise Input Inventory Balance matches what you physically have, the best place to look is Input Inventory Balances.
Requirements:
You must have Input Transfers for the Input you are adjusting in order to have an Input Inventory Balance on that input.
Process:
To view your Input Inventory Balance in Traction Enterprise:
- Start by navigating to Inputs>Inventory>Balances.
- Make sure you are on the Input tab in the upper left corner.
- In the Input Name filter field, start typing the Input Name you are looking for.
Note: This box is a character search field, therefore once three characters have been entered, the database will search for this input. - Review what the current balance of that Input reads.
For this example, let's look at "32-0-0 UAN." You physically only have 90,000 lbs of this fertilizer rather than what is currently stated as 91,401.86 lbs. Therefore we will want to make an Adjustment to this Input Inventory:
- Navigate to Inputs>Inventory>Transfers.
- Click Add on the right.
- Select Adjustment from the list.
- In the Add Adjustment window, fill in the necessary fields to make your adjustment.
- Click Save.
Note: If the adjustment is a negative amount, put a minus sign before the amount (e.g. -5).
- Last, navigate back to Inputs>Inventory>Balances to see your new input balance.
