How do I add an Input Storage to an Inventory Location?
Overview:
In order to store inputs at an Inventory Location, you must have an Input Storage Site setup. During setup, it is easiest to setup an Input Storage Site for each Inventory Location.
Requirements:
- Setup>Inventory Locations
Process:
- Navigate to Setup>Inventory Locations.
- Underneath Input Storage, enter the Storage Name for your Inputs.
- Click Save.
Note: For record-keeping purposes, you cannot delete an Input Storage Site that has received deliveries or returns. You can inactivate the storage site however if it is no longer being used.
- To inactivate an Input Storage site, uncheck the Active checkbox, then click Save.
