Overview:
As the name implies, the Yield by Field Report provides you with a snapshot of the bushels coming off of a particular Field, along with a Field level summary.
Requirements:
- Make sure you've Setup your farm (Inputs, Land Agreements, Financial Accounts, Fields/Boundaries, Crop Plans and Tasks, Field Plans).
- You should have completed Work Orders, Activity Records and Crop Transfers.
Process:
1. Navigate to Reports>Yield By Field.
- This will bring you to the Reports page, defaulting to the Yield by Field Report.
2. The fields along the left side of the page will allow you to configure the report, indicating what Yield data you want to include. You can choose:
- Landowner Once you select the Landowner you'll see a list of all Land Agreements with that Landowner (for a more detailed report check out Getting Started: Landowner Yield Report)
- Lessee: Select from a list of entities as a Lessee, when appropriate (generally used when you want to specify a report for one of the the "Organizations" that you set up in your Setup tab)
- County: Generate a report based on the Boundaries located in a certain county
- Boundary: Select a boundary or Field group to be included in the report
- Crop: Filter by Crop type
3. Select the information you would like included in the report by selecting or de-selecting the boxes beside the different data points on the right side of the page. These include:
- Area: Select Boundary, Planted, or Harvested as the total numbers of acres that Yield data will be tied to (generally, the most reliable average number is the Boundary area)
- Optional: Check the respective boxes to include these columns in the report
4. After you have your report configured, click Generate in the top right, then select PDF. The report will then be processed and appear in the bottom left corner of your screen:
Once you've downloaded and reviewed you Yield by Field Report, if you see something that doesn't look quite right, feel free to contact Customer Support or your Customer Success Manager. Often times the problem can be found on your Harvest Reconciliation page.
Notes:
- For boundaries that have multiple planting dates, the "Planting Complete Date" section of the report will indicate "multiple."
- If (for example) a boundary was replanted on April 16, 2018, the replant date will be noted in () within the report.
