Getting Started: Task Manager - How to add Activity Records

Overview:

Traction Enterprise uses Activity Records to track work that has been done. 

Types of Activity Records

  1. Via Work Order by using the mobile app.
    When Operators record their work using the mobile app, an Activity Record is created.  After the Operator has synced and the Work Order is complete, you can review the record on the web app.  From the web app, you can add additional information that your operator did not record. 

    Note: If two operators are working in the same field, each with their own Work Order, you will see two records.  Their totals are recorded separately but will combine for any reporting.

  2. Via the Web, by entering an Activity Record on the Task itself.

  3. Via Machine Data, by linking Machine Data to Tasks.
    When Machine Data is linked to a task, it also creates an Activity Record.  To view the Machine Data that was used to create this record, click the blue Machine Data link.

Requirements:

  • Crop Plans created.
  • Field Plan assignments made to your fields.
  • All Operators added.
  • All equipment added.
  • All needed inputs added to your Input Catalog.

Process:

Easily Record & Reconcile Completed Work:

  1. Go to Operations>Task Manager.
  2. Click Add Task - choose Completed Tasks.  
  3. Choose what Task you want to Complete.
  4. Next - Task Details.  Select a Completed Date, Completed Inputs, & Rate.
  5. Next - Choose Fields.  Choose the fields which this Task was completed.  You will be able to edit each individual field specifics on the Review page.
  6. Review & make any changes needed to each specific field.
  7. Add Completed Tasks.

    Note: Please be aware of the risk of adding duplicate tasks.

 

Add an individual completed activity record:

  1. Go to Operations>Task Manager.
  2. Use the filters to help narrow down to the Task you want to select.
  3. Select the Field you want to edit.
  4. The Input Application Task Details will open.  Scroll down until you see Activity Records and select Add.

You are also able to add individual Activity Records via the Field Plans page.
