Overview:
Inventory Locations are the physical storage locations for inputs and harvested crops around your farming area as well as your suppliers and your customers. These locations are often setup early on in your Traction Enterprise account and help track delivery of inputs and moving harvested crop.
Traction Enterprise supports the following types of Inventory Locations:
- Farm Location
- Third Party Location
- Supplier Location
- Customer Location
Requirements:
Before you can setup Inventory Locations, you will need to create Entities for each location.
Process:
For adding an Inventory Storage Location at the farm:
- Navigate to Setup>Inventory Locations.
- Click Add at the top right of the page.
- Select the Type of location and enter Name of the location.
- Use the search box to locate the location on the map.
- Click the location on the map to drop a pin there.
- Scroll to the bottom of the dialog box and select a Radius.
- Select an Entity at the location.
- For a Farm Location or a Third Party Location, select Yes or No for Has Truck Scale.
- Click Save.
- After adding your Inventory Location, you will want be able to add Input Storage and Crop Storage to each location.
- Select Add under Input Storage or Crop Storage to begin.
Adding Crop Storage to an Inventory Location
- After selecting Add Crop Storage under the correct Location, the Edit Crop Storage box will appear.
- From this box, you will add your Bin Name, Crop Type, and Capacity (optional)
Note: You are able to customize Shrink and Target Moisture per Bin Location. You are also able to inactive a Storage Bin when not in use.
Adding Input Storage to an Inventory Location
- After selecting Add Input Storage under the correct Location, the Edit Input Storage box will appear.
- From this box, you will add your Storage Name.
