Getting Started: Field Plans

Overview:

Besides allowing you to quickly assign your Crop Plans to specific fields, the Traction Enterprise Field Plans page is a great place to get an overall picture of your operation. Here you can view your crop history over several years or generate a breakdown of how many acres were planted with which crops.

Requirements:

  • Setup Inputs, Land Agreements, Financial Accounts, & Fields.
Inputs can be added via the Field Plans page through In-Context Add.

After Crop Plans are assigned to fields:

  1. Click the Plan Name.
  2. On the Plan Details page, modify Crop Plans on a field-level basis by adding Tasks, removing or editing Tasks, editing Financials, or unassigning the Plan from the field.
    • After a Plan is assigned to a field, changes made on the Crop Plans page will not be reflected on a Field Plan's assignment. Instead, you would need to make those types of changes using Task Manager.
  1. Click Show Crop History to see an historical overview of the crops on a given field over the years.

To assign seed varieties:

After you have your Field Plans on their boundaries, assign your seed varieties on the Seed Plans page.
