Overview:
Contract Manager allows you to streamline contract management, providing visibility into your revenue expectations and how much crop you've got available to contract (by entity and at the enterprise-level).
Requirements:
- All crops added into your account.
- Applicable Harvest Products activated or created.
Process:
- Navigate to Crops>Contract Manager.
- Click Add Contract.
- Choose your type of Contract: Hedge to Arrive, Basis, No Price, Spot, or Forward
- Next select the Harvest Product and Production Cycle.
While on the Contract Manager page, you can:
- View existing Contracts by Crop
- Visualize how much Crop is available to Contract (by Entity and at the Enterprise-level)
- Get a snapshot view of forecasted revenue, breakeven, and profit/loss broken down by Crop
- Drill in further by filtering by Crop, Entity, or Production Cycle
- Click "Details" to experiment with the Revenue What-if Calculator, view/make changes to existing Contracts, and view transfers associated with each Contract
- Add new Contracts by clicking "Add Contract" in the upper right corner
- Export all Contracts to a .CSV file
Note: The Revenue What-if Calculator lets you explore possible contracted prices and yields to see how it affects your revenue and net profit. Any changes on this calculator are for scenario planning and will not be stored in Traction Enterprise.
