Overview:
When you make decisions about what tasks to prioritize-most often, for the day ahead-it is important to have a bird's eye view of your current on-farm activity. Our Activity Analyzer allows you to examine labor utilization across your operation for all Task types. This page allows you to easily sum Operator and Equipment hours and acres, with the ability to view by Date, Crop, Equipment, Operator, or Field.
Requirements:
- Completed Tasks or Work Orders
Answer:
By navigating to Operations>Review>Activity Analyzer, you can see:
- Actual Area Covered
- Actual Operator Hours
- Actual Operator Speed
- Actual Operator Speed = Actual Area Covered / Actual Operator Hours
- Actual Equipment Hours
- Actual Equipment Speed
- Actual Equipment Speed = Actual Area Covered / Equipment Hours
- Actual Equipment Speed = Actual Area Covered / Equipment Hours
- Note: Actual Speeds ignore any activity where Operator/Equipment hours are less than 5 minutes or where Area is 0.
Tip: To be surfaced on the Activity Analyzer, the activity record must contain Operator Hours, Equipment Hours, and Area (either Area Covered or Actual Area).
Data can flow through to the Activity Analyzer via a couple different routes - mobile Work Orders or Tasks completed via the web app. In this example below you can see how the mobile Work Order also shows up on the web app:
The operator completed a spraying Work Order and chose to Use Planned as Actuals, therefore automatically populating the Actual Area and the Actual Total portions of the Work Order.
- Because this Operator used Planned Amounts as Actuals, the Area Covered in both of these screenshots has been left blank. Traction Enterprise uses the Actual Area (41.53 ac) to populate the Actual Area Covered field on the Activity Analyzer.
- In other instances, if an Operator enters Area Covered in their mobile Work Order, that number will automatically be resurfaced as the Actual Area.
When the Operator's completed Work Order successfully syncs, the information generates a relevant Activity Record associated with this Task that can be viewed from the web application.
