Can I assign multiple Crop Plans to the same Field Boundary?
Overview:
Because Traction Enterprise serves customers in various climates, we've made it possible to track related variables, such as double-cropping.
As a general rule, if you're growing two Crops in one Boundary at the same time, you should split the Field into two separate Boundaries that reflect where each crop is grown. This will allow you to create separate Tasks and Work Orders for each Crop.
However, if you're double-cropping, you should not create two separate boundaries. Instead, you should apply two different Crop Plans to the same field, making sure that the dates in one Plan do not overlap with the dates in the other Plan.
Requirements:
Your fields must be effective to use in the current production cycle
Process:
To assign a second Crop Plan to a field:
- Navigate to Operations>Plans>Field Plans.
- Click and drag a Crop Plan from the left column to the correct field.
- Click Add Plan.
Your new Crop Plan is applied to that Field even though there is already an existing Crop Plan present.
