Can I add a field boundary to more than one Field Group in a category?

Overview:

Field Groups are a useful tool to help organize your fields by category.  Use the Traction Enterprise Field Group functionality to create multiple categories with different Field Groups per category.

In the example below, we created a category for our Landlords. In this category, we have a Field Group set up for each of our Landlords.

Requirements:

  • Add boundaries to Field Groups.

Answer:

No, fields can be associated with only one Field Group per category because most Field Groups (for example, County, Landlords, Irrigated/Non-Irrigated) are exclusive to a single field/boundary. Any given boundary should be tied to only one group for filtering purposes.
