Answer
Setup
- People - Add your administrators, managers (with or without financial privileges), and operators. Set up users by giving all members in your farm team unique usernames (email format) and easy-to-recall passwords.
- Entities - Key in your farm entity (business entities), as well as landowners, input suppliers, and crop customers like elevators and packers.
- Fields - Work with your Trainer or Data Specialist to obtain and import boundaries or manually draw operating boundaries and set boundary effective dates.
- Field Groups - Flexible way to categorize your fields into groups
- Land Agreements - Link landowners, lease terms, and acres to respective fields. For each landowner, add in lease agreement details.
- Inputs - Using the built-in database, search for names of current seed varieties, chemicals, and fertilizers. For each input, configure the key details, like measurement units, default application rates, and price estimates. Create mixes from inputs already in your farm catalog.
- Equipment - Configure tractors, trucks, sprayers, harvesters, and other equipment. Major implements can be categorized as "Other."
- Inventory Locations - Click on the map and key in farm, supplier, and customer locations as well as storages at each location. Keep input storage simple, and make sure crop storage is consistent with your crop products coming off the field.
- Crops - Review each crop product and key in additional details, like harvest and storage units, moisture (if applicable) and estimated revenue. Inactivate any crop products you are not harvesting.
Operations
- Crop Plans - Add tasks to include in your crop plan templates.
- Field Plans - Assign your crop plan templates to your field boundaries.
- Seed Plans - Assign your seed varieties to your field boundaries (splits available).
- Task Manager - Quickly bulk adjust your plans and tasks.
Financials
Profit Analyzer - Allows you to audit and understand your revenue and direct costs, and trace each of these line items down to the field level.
Crops
Contract Manager - Add your crop contracts.
